Campus Zone: The college newsfeed app for iPhone and iPad

Are you a college student looking for a safe place where you are able to share entertaining and useful content with everyone on your campus? Campus Zone helps you safely share photos with everyone on your campus. Whether you are trying to organize massive gatherings and events, or just sharing entertaining news or photos, CampusZone is for you!

Campus Zone is best for:

On-Campus Organizations - Post news, events, or updates that you want to share with everyone on campus to increase awareness of your club or organization.

Students - A safe place to share and look for entertaining content, news, and events that promote community.

Faculty - We took privacy and safety very seriously and created an environment where it is almost impossible to post negative, malicious, or inappropriate content.

Why?:

Since there are no comments, there can never be negative feedback.

Since you cannot see a user’s name in a post (before liking it) you will receive likes based on the content you are sharing and not based on who you are.

Since all users are required to log in with Facebook, everyone is exposing their real identity, which deters users from posting inappropriate content.

We noticed the negativity that anonymous feeds promotes, therefore we created temporary anonymity.

Newsfeed:

You dont see the name of the person who shared the post, until you like the post.

Once you like a photo, you will see the user’s name, and you will have the ability to explore their profile to learn more about them.

Each use will have the ability to link their Campus Zone profile to their other social media accounts, so go ahead and connect with your peers on other social media accounts!

Notifications:
See who liked your photos and check out their profile.

See who on your campus feed liked your posts.

Events (Coming Soon):
Instead of posting flyers around campus and create an event on Campus Zone or share you flyer on the campus newsfeed so that your entire campus can learn about it! This allows you to advertise efficiently and in an eco-friendly manner.

Check out details about the event so that you can determine if it is something you are interested in attending.

Profile :
Your profile page acts as a bridge to other users social media accounts like: Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.
Make sure to connect your social media accounts to increase your followers, likes, and visibility.
